EPF DG SPEAKS AT KEY EU ENERGY EVENT

In June, at the EU Sustainable Energy Week, the star event was, "Policy meets property: a combined perspective on energy efficiency in buildings" co-hosted by the Commission and ZIA, the German Property Federation. Three main speakers: Energy Commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete, Budget Commissioner Günther Oettinger and the ZIA Energy Committee chairman followed by half a dozen panellists including EPF director general Michael MacBrien who proposed that landlords and tenants work together to achieve a mutually beneficial step-change in energy renovation rates.
