EPF AND FIABCI BECOME GLOBAL PARTNERS

The European Property Federation and FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation have agreed to a global partnership, which will further support the real estate industry in Europe and worldwide.

Formally established by FIABCI on April 16, 2019, the global partnership agreement comprises an initial period of three years and the following main objectives:

  • Enhance the cooperation between federations to serve real estate professionals in Europe and worldwide
  • Draw up an action plan to promote sustainable and green development, in particular to help attain EU real estate energy-efficiency and sustainable targets as well as the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals
  • Promote and/or propose EU initiatives supporting the real estate industry
  • Evaluate opportunities to jointly organize international events to raise awareness for European policies and education challenges, and to support cross border contacts and business

FIABCI

Founded in 1951 in Paris, FIABCI is a worldwide business networking organization for all professionals associated with the real estate industry.

FIABCI has provided access and opportunities for real estate professionals interested in gaining knowledge, sharing information and conducting international business with each other. It is a member of the International Ethics Standards Coalition and signed off on the 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact.
