COUNCIL’S FIRST REVISION OF THE RECAST OF THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY DIRECTIVE

The Slovenian Presidency has just released a first draft of Council amendments (not yet accessible to the general public and probably won’t be for a month or two, but here-attached). This draft is the tipping point to an unstoppable transformation of real estate.

The reason for this is that the EED is the Directive that contains the provision on the “exemplary role of public bodies’ buildings”. The Commission had proposed a step-change and Council has barely touched it.
