Antonio de la
Peña is a member of the Managing Committee of the European
Property Federation -EPF- (since January 2005), Vice-President of the
Spanish Council of Shopping Centres (AECC), Member of the
European Advisory Board of the International Council of Shopping
Centres (ICSC) and President of Arpa Arquitectos.
Arpa
Arquitectos is a consulting and architectural design firm, with
vast and well known competence and experience in the shopping and
entertainment centres industry in Spain as well as in residential,
commercial and other kinds of projects. Internationally, Arpa
Arquitectos works as a member of Evata, the worldwide
architects firm and global alliance.

as well as engaging in urban planning and design, consultancy in real
estate, etc., in Spain, Europe and Latin America.
Is a member of the Colegio
Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM).
Has been:
- Assistant Professor at the Madrid School of Architecture (1972-1987).
- Member of the Retail Urban Planning Commission of the Retail Observatory (Spain Ministry of Economy) (1988-2003).
- President of the VI Spanish Congress of Shopping Centres. La Coruña (1998).
- Vice-President of the I European Conference of Retail and Urban Planning. (Málaga 1999). Sponsored by the European Commission and the Ministry of Economy.
- Vice-President of the VII Spanish Congress of Shopping Centres. Las Palmas 2000.
