Maria Batoeva

Maria Batoeva is a Member of the Managing Committee of the European Property Federation - EPF (since February 2010), Managing Director and owner of BATOEVA Engineering Ltd. (since 1991) and E&M Consultants Ltd., London (since 1995) and a member of the Chamber of Architects in Bulgaria, Architectural Registration Board and the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Institute of Directors, London.

BATOEVA Engineering specializes in Architectural design, Construction, Interior design, Renovation and Real Estate consultancy. It works in close collaboration with its London branch E&M Consultants Ltd. The companies' portfolio includes commercial and residential designs, construction, specialized TV and Cinema studios and related consultancy for a large number of clients including the President of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Foreign Office, the Bulgarian National television, Kodak Ltd. and others.

1993 - 2000: Total reconstruction of Bulgarian National Television Building – All Offices (12 stories), Technical Rooms (4 stories), Main News Room, Studios for digital editing, Dressing rooms and other facilities.
1993 - 2000: Total renovation of National Radio and Television Center (5 stories).
1998 - 2001: Designed and built a 5 story Office Building with shop units on the ground and first floors, 97 Knjaz Boris Str, Sofia.
1994 - 2002: Renovation of a large number of private residences including the Bulgarian Presidents official residence "Villa Kalina".
2002 - 2003: Refurbishment of the Bulgarian President’s Media Press Conference Hall, National Palace, Sofia. Refurbishment of the hall, including acoustic engineering, air conditioning system and technical installations.
1995 - 1996: Total renovation of Bulgarian National Television Studio No.4, technical equipment supplied by Crima Mila Ltd, London.
1997 - 2001: Reconstruction and interior design of luxury apartments in Thames Riverside Development by Richmond Bridge, Surrey.
1998 - 1999: Refurbishment of Telecinema Studio, Boyana Film Studios, Sofia, for conversion of film into VCR format. Technical equipment supplied by Kodak Ltd.
2004 - 2005: Refurbishment of Bulgarian Embassies in Paris and London. For the Bulgarian Foreign Office Building in Sofia, re-designed and refurbished main restaurant and bar, panoramic restaurant and VIP meeting rooms.
2005 - 2006: Complete refurbishment of an unused two-story building at the Boyana Film Studios, Sofia, to make the new Kodak Cinelab film processing plant.
2006 - : Completed the architectural/engineering project for the Green Magic development, Ribaritza Village in the Teteven region of Bulgaria.
2009 - : First stage design for the New Library Building and Glass Roof extension over courtyard of Sofia University, Bulgaria.
